Principal's Message

Hello Blairwood Families,

It has truly been a blessing to step into the role of principal working with all of the students in the building this past year. I could not ask for a better group of people to work with as we help push our students toward greatness. No matter how amazing my staff are, nothing we strive for can be achieved without the support of students, families, and the community.

This coming school year marks my sixth year working with Blairwood Elementary students and families.  Many of you my background here as a third grade, fourth grade, or Title 1 teacher. Prior to coming to Blairwood, I taught at numerous districts throughout southeastern Ohio, as well as Xenia and Trotwood. Additionally, I have an extensive background in administration through my years working in the corporate business world.  

I am excited for the future of Blairwood Elementary and the opportunities to create new partnerships, memories, and stories of success. I pledge to continue to expand opportunities for our students to grow, the community to engage with our school, and families to connect with our staff as we push for academic excellence.
